Our Story

WOOF Pet Care was founded in March 2020 in Downtown Austin with a straightforward belief - that dogs living in the heart of the city deserved the same level of care and attention as the people who love them!  Our goal has always been simple: to increase joy in the lives of pets and their pet parents.

Five years later that mission remains unchanged. When Trammell Crow — one of the most respected real estate developers in the country — was building 700 River Street, they sought out WOOF to bring luxury dog boarding and daycare to their residents and the surrounding community. WOOF on Rainey was born from that partnership.

Today WOOF on Rainey is led day-to-day by Emily, our Experienced  Veterinary Technician and Head of Operations, and supported by Mason and Avery — the team that is the heart and soul of everything we do. We offer something genuinely different: vet tech managed luxury boarding and daycare in the heart of Downtown Austin's Rainey Street District.

We are proud to be an active member of the Austin community, including our work with local rescue organizations such as Austin Pets Alive! Every dog that comes through our doors receives the individual care and attention they deserve - no matter their background. It's a standard we carry into every set of paws in our care!
